I had exactly the same issue as you. Apart from telecom companies, HP has to have the worst customer services in the world!

Hah. That's pretty funny. Actually, no, this doesn't happen on any brand of printer. I have had many ink jet printers which don't require "special" cartridges to initialize. Any cartridge of the proper type that you buy will do fine. In addition, even if you do require special initial cartridges, the fact that you can't buy them is ludicrous.

By the way, your IP traces back to India, I wonder if you work for the "outstanding" customer service team that I spoke with in trying to troubleshoot this problem?

you fucking fool this will happen with any printer of any brand. This is the technology which is used in all printers. If you are such a smartass, why the fuck dont you built a printer of your own and maybe give it a brand name "JP" since "HP" is no good to you no more.
BTW, HP is the biggest brand in computers and printers in the WORLD much much ..... and i mean MUCH BIGGER than JP.

So go fuck yourself now.
